Anna Lynch- MOPS Coordinator Anna has three children ages, 6, 4, and almost 2. She has been involved with Blue Ridge MOPS for three years and has really enjoyed the support and friendship she finds there. She would describe her life as full and messy but feels so thankful and blessed. Sara Bentley- Care Group Leader
Sara and her husband moved to Boone in 2010. Originally from California, these two west-coasters miss the beach; but also love living life in the mountains with their son, Dylan. In her former life (i.e. pre-motherhood) Sara spent almost 10 years working as a Pastor, and Hospital Chaplain and continues to speak and write when she is not chasing after her toddler. She loves nothing more than diving into good conversations about matters of faith, family and loving others to Christ. Wendy Clifton- Finance
Wendy has been married to her best friend Eric for 7 years and have three children, Jackson (4), Ansley (3) and Elsie (1). She taught 2nd grade for several years before she was able to take her dream job as a stay at home mom. She loves getting to know other moms, sharing stories and having a great support group through MOPS. Angela Combs- Finance
Angela has been involved with Blue Ridge MOPS for three years. She enjoys spending time with other Moms, sharing the joys and struggles of being a mom together. She and her husband, Laramie, have been married for eleven years. Their daughter Natalie is five years old. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, playing softball and volleyball and other sports activities. Sheila Greene- Welcome
Sheila and her husband Danny has been married for nine years and have three children. She says that MOPS has been a wonderful part of her mom life, helping her be connected and finding her way through this time in her life. Ashley Hoge- Care Group Leader
Ashley has been a part of MOPS for almost five years. She has loved getting to know the different Moms the community and their precious kiddos. Barb Kelley- Mentor
Roberta Meyers-Edmisten- Hospitality, Moppets
Roberta and her husband, John, have been married over ten years. They have three sons between them; Corey 14, Danny 21 and Ezra 3. They also have been blessed with a daughter-in-law, Nina 20! Roberta loves MOPS because of the fellowship during and outsides the meetings! Hanna Rasco- Care Group Leader
Hanna and her husband Arthur moved to Boone in 2006. Her greatest works, Emma, Elise, Jonathan and Joshua fill her days with laughter, adventure and a little insanity. Ages four, three, two and one, her children have made this season of her life an intense one of learning and growing. It is a great joy for her to travel with and learn from other moms in this stage of life. Amy Reese- Care Group Leader
Amy has a beautiful 2 1/2 year old daughter, Gracie, and have both been greatly blessed by joining MOPS. They have such wonderful friends and feel it is such a great way to connect with other moms! Amber Skene- Care Group Coordinator
Amber has lived in Boone all her life. She has been married to her husband, Robbie, for nine years and they have three children. She has been involved with MOPS for seven years. Amber says that she would not have been able to make it through this mothering journey without this wonderful group of women. Becky Webb- Care Group Leader
Becky has been married to her hero and best friend Jonathan for six years. Together they have two children; Caden, 3, and Baylor, 1. Becky joined leadership with MOPS because she believes that moms are in desperate need of authentic community where they can be themselves and give support to each other. Before children entered the picture Becky spent 5 years mentoring college students with Campus Crusade for Christ. She enjoys opportunities to share all that she is learning by getting to know other moms one-on-one, and sharing tidbits on her blog Our Peaceful Home. Becky Zaragoza- Graphic Design
Becky is a native of Boone. She has been married for 7 years and has three children. While she stays home with her babies she also works from home as a graphic designer for a local marketing company. MOPS has been a great way for her to build friendships with other moms in the community. |
